1. For the slightly older and adrenaline hungry child look no further than Phuket Kart Speedway! Located at the foot of Patong Hill this 750m track provides hours of fun for children and adults. With 2 and 4 stroke engines available and and a range of carts that cater for differing ages and abilities of children and adults, this a great place to head to for a few hours of fun!
2. Elephant riding in the Chalong Area is a once in a lifetime experience and sure to be one the children never forget. It is also a great way to learn about elephants and their conservation in Thailand. The trek takes place over Chalong Bay and encourages an understanding of elephants, Phuket and its wildlife. A must for any visitor to Phuket, just make sure that you book the trek through an recognised provider such as Siam Safari elephant camp to ensure the good treatment and protection of elephants in Phuket.
3. Another activity for the adrenaline junkie is Phuket Jungle Extreme Adventure Park. Based in a rubber plantation above Wat Chalong this adventure trail features a host of tree climbing activities including suspended bridges, walkways, nets and barrels. With 72 different climbing stations it is the only park in Asia that uses two working systems for complete safety and peace of mind. Suitable from age 4 upwards.
4. Zorbing is an activity made for Phuket! Simple yet effective, Zorbing involves standing in a giant, clear ball and rolling down hills! Its official name is ‘hill rolling’ and it originated in New Zealand. Zorbing at Rollerball is based in Kalim and is approx. 500m from the sea along a steep slop. There are 2 different tracks, one straight and one winding for varying experiences!
